Played for one hour and only did 2 short cases, died on my third. The EA section in the store page says that you have access to 12 cases with 200 different events.
You probably won't finish the game in one go as it can be harsh at times. Also there's permadeath.
But a single run where you solve 5 cases and take to the lighthouse will take about 1 to 1.5 hrs.
If you've ever played a game like Binding Of Isaac, it's that kind of design philosophy. You play the main game loop repeatedly and the RNG and unlocks make it a new experience each time.
