Have Fun
In the meantime I've been craving a WWII shooter. Haven't had a decent campaign in a while so I thought I'd give it a shot for 12 bucks. Would I have to convert this to an ArmA 3 mod to get the most out of the game?
You should get your facts straight, and stop speading false information:
1. Iron Front's content was original content created by Awar themselves who are former Libmod team from Operation Flashpoint, the content is and was created from scatch, all their work including their animations can be seen in their OFP mod.
Wheres the proof? you may ask, the proof is in the name of the files, each file has the word Lib in it, which stands for Liberation, and that means what?
the Developers (Awar) whom i know by their names, team name back in the early 2000's when OFP was the main game, name was Liberation 1941-1945 their website is still up to this day:

Now back in 2009 the team were working on and porting, their mod and creating new content to release in Arma2 heres the orignal thread http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?86488-%E2%80%9Cliberation-1941-1945%E2%80%9D&highlight=Liberation+1941-1945
at the top of the new page
my post seen here

also read a few pages back as it was said they would create a standalone game, aka Iron front.
IF was Developed by Awar who is the Lib mod team, Published by Deepsilver, and the engine (Arma2CO version) was licensed by BIS, X1 another company had their hand in its production too.
2. Game engine wasn't stolen, idk where you get that idea from, but the engine was licensed to Awar by BIS, the engine is a version of the Arma2CO engine, thats why the engine version for the game is not the same as it is in Arma2CO currently.
3.There is MP, there a re many groups and servers:
http://ironfront.forumchitchat.com/?forum=284524
3 of the top IF groups are Major Mayhem's group, Chief's server/group, and the Russian Hard Mode group, all of them play vanilla, IFA2, and IFA3 versions of Iron front.
Suggest you do all 3, you can play both vanilla, IFA2, and IFA3, theres tons of missions, mods, textures, scripts, including sound mods, and a mod I built, including my team built all on my website: www.MissionRepository.com
Any questions let me know.
