To co-op with random strangers or not?

The game turned co-op on by default. It didn't even ask me if I want to let another player join my game.
Someone came in, with noise coming out through their mics the whole time. He then rush ahead and finished my mission.
I am a miserable person with no friends. lol Would I miss out on anything if I turn off co-op?
(I found playing LFD2 with strangers mostly enjoyable. I've also co-oped with strangers in Borderlands, and it helped when I had to battle a large group of enemies.)

You woudnt Miss anything. I never do co-op cause they steal my loot

I play solo and I'm loving it, however, my game automatically loaded with the co-op enabled. I was able to switch to a private session after the prologue. I've read that you just have to wait until then if you don't want to play with others. I could see people in the lobby. One person joined and left within a few seconds. No problems since. I might play co-op later with people I've already met after I level up some more.

By the way, you're welcome to add me if you want an honest team player. :-)

Don't forget you can get achievements by playing with other people..that is, if you don't have friends who play the game, joining a random's game will get u 1 achievement. See if they wanna roll with you and split the rewards. Plus, you can gain XP for the other achievements. And who knows, you might decide to become friends. I guess the point is, how else can you expect to make friends if you don't try? But, as the others have said, I too want to just play solo until I complete the game.

the game is definitely more fun with other people, provided they aren't douchebags. finding non-doucebags in random games will be quite hard, though. i've found people soliciting games on this forum fairly amicable though, give them a go.

Turned it off. If someone joins, zombies respawn and I like to play with friends I know. That is much more fun.
