Co-op mod for more than 4 players?

Hi, anyone knows if there is a way to play Dead Island in co-op with more than 4 players, like 5 players or more? Any mod to modify the friend or public slots ?
I've been searching for a while, but no luck. I only found mods for weapons, enemies, etc.

I think co-op player limits should be more flexible, to fit for lan partys. Imagine you are with 4 friends and a fifth comes, why not to have the choice to add another slot... and warn about the experience with more players but allow it :o

Unfortunatly, it's only 2-4 players. But, I'm guessing with any more it would be a bit too hectic for me.
