When I play this game I feel dizzy and sick
I like the game, but I can't play it more than... 40minutes? before feeling sick (and having nausea).

Anybody knows what's happening?

By coincidence... a friend of mine experiences the same thing. From what I understand, it's the " head bobbing " motion that your character does that causes it to happen to him. Some games you can shut this off. Unfortunately, you cannot in Dead island.

Ok thank you

It's because of a tight FOV with lots of motion. Blurring, head bobbing, strafing - everything is in your face.

Look up "Dead Island Helper" and play the game on a bit higher FOV, and/or try to sit further away from your monitor. If you still find yourself getting 'motion sick' or not feeling right, in other games - then you're probably straining your eyes too much and need to take longer breaks. Exercise your eyes, etc.

Tired =dizzyness? maybe it's what's happening. I'm going to try dead island helper and switch of all the "special effects" and enhance the field of view. If I were you I would try it also.

It can happen to me all the time when I play fist person shooting game with many clue and have to run all over the map. Thing is just take a break. I play this game like watching series from TV. Play only few minute just to clear new task and stop. It like you watch new episode from TV series.

In my case I've given up. Even disabling all the things and widening the field of view I felt so sick thath I just had to stop and sleep for a while. Lucky for me I bought the game from one of those steam sale discount.

I tend to get that myself with many games that use the Unreal engine. It's motion sickness, plain and simple.
