Dead Island & Riptide Invisible menu & unable to turn around. BUGS/ERRORS?!?! -HELP!!

If anyone could help me i would be glad.
I read somewhere that the region settings change help, i have no clue where to find it. Steam-> settings->??? where can anyone tell me?

Other thing i read that -> You need a graphics card with a TPU (Text Processing Unit).
Well yeah, to tell the truth this game worked on this PC perfectly about a year ago, before the catalist controll center updated itself and there were no options to change anything in its menu.
Now I reinstalled everything to the basic driver, ccc from the CD, even the Win7. Still not works.
Once I was able to reset something in CCC to make it work now I dont remember and cant find useful threads for it.

In riptide, well... I'm unable to turn...
i cant see any buttons to set the gamma either. At this point it shoudl have been suspicious the thing, yeah i know.
After the video, when you wake up in the cabin I'm unable to turn around, only go back and forth, left-right, nothing between. Like it seems the mouse wouldnt work, but it works perfectly in the menu.

I couldn't find any solution to it from anywhere.
Please help me!

I have the same exact problem, I found 2 other threads about this on other websites, but no solution, would love if someone found one.

Still no any fix for this? Cause i have same problem - invisible fonts and cannot move mouse in Riptide...

i found that though i've not bound the \ key it seems to freeze me.. also i can Use stationary machine guns, but i cant seem to disengage myself from them should be the same key i used to use it.

i am having the Exact same problem. i have yet to find a solution. although it looks like it could be really fun. wtf
