Texture Flickering problems
I've tried looking around, but couldn't find anything on this anywhere.

I have really bad texture flickering problems in my game. Like, bad enough to make me stop playing. I started a fresh campaign, and when I looked around the starting room, I noticed wall textures flickering in and out at certain angles. When I entered the bathroom, the upper left wall corner of the shower was flickering so bad I could see the black abyss on the other side of the wall. It happens on random windows and lighting fixtures in the hallway, too.

Is there any way to stop this?

No replies yet... anyone have any info on this? Still can find a fix. :/

Had this same issue with DI and Riptide.
Hadn't played the game since last year, reinstalled them both a few weeks back and noticed the issue.
Only happens inside buildings, but it's the only game I have the issue in. My first instinct is that it's a driver issue, but if it was I would think the issue would be more widespreed.

Try one really good fix for all of DI's problems - Dead Island Helper. Very useful app with many functions

Already using it.
It does nothing for this issue.

I have the same issue and was initially worried that something's wrong with my graphics card. I know this thread is a little old, but can we try to narrow down what's common to our setup? I run it on a Lenovo Y50 with a GTX860M.
(btw, the issues don't appear when I run it from my integrated Intel HD 4600)

I have GTX860M on Acer V15 nitro and I have the same problem. In first Hotel, there are wall flickering textures and on balcons, there are wall flickering textures flying in the air.

This game has some bugs and glitches. Some textures stand out at when you enter a door.
There's pop up, like it is a floorboard in the air. Can't tell what causes it. But it probably could be fixed with searching by trial and error.
