Can't throw weapons, what am I doing wrong?

I was only able to throw after activating fury with Logan. I right click, crosshair turns red, then left click and just stupidly swing the knife. Even extending Logan's throwing range without fury didn't help. Is the throw distance hilariously short, or am I supposed to use a different button to throw than attack?

If you release RMB too soon, you will swing instead of throw; make sure you continue to hold RMB when you click LMB. Also IIRC if you're out of stamina, you will swing instead of throw.

Well, I'm holding RMB down the whole time and have full stamina when I try to throw. Is throwing limited to specific weapons?

Should be able to throw just about anything except guns. I have Gabriel's Sledgehammer and the Pick of Destiny and I can throw both of those.

When you press RMB he should extend his left hand like he's prepping to throw the thing. If the crosshair shows up on a target, you're good to go.

OMFG it was my mouse. It has 4 buttons that I can set to anything, but it turns out that only 2 combinations will let LMB and RMB be pressed together. FFS the weekend is almost up and I gave up on Logan since throwing is his whole thing.
