If the question is which one has more to do with the overall storyline of Dead Island, so far I'd say Xian.
I heard she is hard early on until you get a long weapon for her.
I'm playing Xian and she seems good early on. Maybe because I came from a harder game?
Her stamina is great and her kicks seem very long. When they are on the ground, I can kick them even when I am not at their feet. Maybe it's a glitch or something.
i thought I had a glitch with SamB because I took alot of damage through out the whole game.
Edit...
Xian was good using junk weapons early on, like paddles or pipes. Knives and blade weapons got ate up too quick.
The game level jumped on me and now the weapons suck. Using any good blade weapon needs to be repaired way too much. I upgraded them and they still fall apart.
Oh well, that was short lived....heh
Also I was able to collect a bunch of weapons my level after the jump. Nothing special, but at least I have a dozen weapons to burn through.
I don't know how to feel about Xian. I have to pull my self back down, knowing I am starting over with a different character. No health or regen makes a total different game.
It's great when you get those good hits, but fall back on stamina to run when things go bad.
What happens later on when you just run into more trouble...lol
