Incest (Spoilers!)
YU-NO has three routes with incest relationships. Ayumi - stepmother, Kanna - daughter, Yuno - daughter. For me, there is nothing wrong with that, and even so, relatives form a closer contact (in the anime, of course). What do you think about this?
It was a pity there was no way to have an affair with the Takuya a real mother - Keiko. I am sure this would be a good addition.:zoeysmirk::irishappy:

I loved it. My first route (while playing the original) was Ayumi's, and I was hoping to bond with her more throughout her route, which was rewarding when it did happen.

I like Ayumi too. She really was a loving stepmother, even if they have a difference with Takuya for 8 years. Only it’s sad that there was no route with Keiko.

Ayumi isn't blood-related, so that's whatever. They've only been even legally related for 6 freaking months too, so while a little weird, it's not even that socially unacceptable.

The Yu-no and Kanna relationships are... questionable. The Yu-no one is bizarre because she says she got her mother's permission, which is just... wow. They also (up to the end of the game) don't actually get intimate, even though it sounds like they will in the future (if they even have a future? who knows what happens at the end of the world). The Kanna one is mostly excusable because there was no way for them to know about the issue, at least the first time. Except in the true ending for Kanna's route, there is a way for them to know and they purposefully ignore the issue, saying that they "didn't want to discover her parentage". That's... yeah. I guess he likes Kanna enough to cover his eyes and ears and pretend everything is fine and that he doesn't recognize Amanda in that photograph.

Being iffy about incest in a story about Freud complex is like being iffy about fish in a sushi restaurant.

Like, seriously, what else can you expect from a character who literally quotes Freud the moment he wakes up from dreaming about his mother's bosom?
