This game somehow embodies early 2000s with its fecal brown color palette, ugly visuals and urban warfare setting.

This game has 1 problem: It isn't any good.

The mobile version is better. Controlling your avatar is annoying. You don't have to deal with that on mobile. The controls are interesting because using the scroll wheel seems like it makes sense, but I just cant get used to it. But its a cool effect.

I honestly wanted to like this game more but it is riddled with poor game design choices that really should have been patched out at some point. Unskippable cutscenes AFTER the checkpoints, questionable map mechanics, and difficulty level that swings wildly all over the place. The game was novel enough to make me forgo the deficiencies... that is, until mission 12 (presumably the last one - I am not finding out as I just uninstalled the game). All of these problems come to head in the last section of the map, when you are trying to go for high scores, and it just makes it an unfun and frustrating experience. I do not know who was responsible for the decision of taking control away from the player every time there is a heavily repeated, scripted event, that has RANDOMNESS built into it, but that person needs to go back to game design school. Them and whoever approved and QA'd these decisions. Save yourself some pain and play something else, or perhaps try your luck with one of the sequels - hopefully these deficiencies were addressed in future games (again, I am not finding out for myself).

It's hard to give this game a thumbs up or down. It's not a BAD game per say, but it's a simple baby game for babies. It's a very nicely polished simple baby game for babies and if you're a baby it is probably a fantastic game for you and I'd absolutely recommend it. That said, I am not baby, this game is not for me, and that is disappointing because the premise it is sold on really does make it sound like it is for me. Not recommended for not baby.
