The game stuck at loading screen Ubuntu 15.04 x64

The game works fine in windows, but my office pc is linux one, today i tried to play on it with no luck. After the starting movie, the game hangs on loading animation. Im using nVidia 8600GT and proprietary driver. Are there some fixes about this?

I have the same problem as well using an AMD Radeon HD7770. I played it already on Windows, but now I moved over to Ubuntu 15.04 and it is stuck at the loading screen.

Same here, I play it on Arch. Seems to be a problem specific to the linux version. But I already played it on Linux (some time ago).

No Reply from 11Bit? Same issue here, and 15.04 Nvidia GTX 760 with the stable 346.59 Closed drivers.

I may have found a fix for this, i have all of the Anomaly games, its been a few years since i played the earlier ones, installed this one , the mobile campaign and Anomaly 2 and they both got stuck at the loading screen so i disabled steam overlay ran the games , again they got stuck at the loading screen manually killed the programs, however when i ran them a second and third time (just to make sure it wasnt a fluke) all three worked. Your Mileage may vary, just remember to have all the necessary 32bit libraries installed as well though steam is supposed to take care of that.

Same here on Ubuntu 14.04 x64 with AMD graphic card disabled (with intel i7 integrated graphics).

Ugh, the game used to work for me on Ubuntu 14.04. (Well, it crashed on exiting, but it was playable.) Now after updating to 16.04 it hangs after the intro video as well. Dredhammer, so for you the game just starts after killing it once? Could you please elaborate on what 32bit libraries you installed?
