Conveyor Belts
These appear to be the most useless system in the game, as they don't appear to work right, nor does their implementation make any sense. I have The loaders that pick from storages feeding the belt, but they just stop feeding for no reason, the belt is not full.

i was actually going to make a post myself.. asking whats the point of conveyors.. they take up a lot of space, and you still have to hire logisitics to put stuff on and off them. so.. the time it takes for a logisitics employee to move is whats being helped? just dont see this being usefull past just hiring folks to walk around and the use of shelves; as space for tables = more profit vs the belts.. we are limited on floor space.. just dont see a reason id want to use one.

So i spent the last 4 hours trial and error. They are both intuitive and and hard to use at the same time. I wanted a way to automate reinforced cases. Here is a screen shot that shows you how to set that up. Maybe that will help. It takes a lot of trial and error. You have to adjust numbers constantly to finally get the right mix. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2342000239

I think the Magic number to have the pickers is to have them pick enough to make 1 unit at a time. SO for my cases it takes 30 plastic 50 metal 10 plastic cases. So for the rules on the picker i have it pick 3 plastic, 5 metal 1 case.

Whole issue could be resolved by not having to put numbers into the picker at all.

So just a whole stack at a time? or one at a time? Both are options. What is your suggestion?

Whole stacks.

then just set it to a full stack. They are giving you the option for control.

Agree with Muppet, the system is both intuitive and difficult to use at this stage of development.

I like that they're part of the strategy though. The current system seems to be there to minimize the amount of walking employees do. That is: the idea isn't to fully replace employees. That seems to be a theme throughout the campaign too.

I use the system limit the distances employees walk. Then I can use zone bonuses for picking speed to make the system efficient. If employees could fix conveyors when they stop placing objects on the belts, that would be a plus. Because thats one of the awkward issues with them right now. The logistics chain is very very fragile.
