@Mods:
No, mods are not planned.
I realize that it is not in scope of this game project right now but I strongly urge you to be open to modding support in the future. Project Highrise, a similar game except it's 2D, already had this supported and I believe it has enhanced the game's value.
I have, however, heard that Unity is not very modding-friendly or something for a game. Is there a grain of truth to that?
I am curious as to whether you are going to hash out the leveling awards and such. I do think security needs to be at a lower level as by the time I hit level 2 most of my shops are needing security and I don't level up amazingly quick.
I do think there should be a better variety of shops and food throughout. I know it's wishful thinking and I am sure you are aware checking out Simtower could provide some valuable hints. I haven't found any other games that come even close to its status. Sadly I am baffled at why it has never been reintroduced like other games.
I'm not alone in this I am glad to see, why not think outside the box, "Literally" and do a city full expansion of different styles of towers. Interconnect them as a well oiled machine of commerce. As for the company think of the profit it can make, BUT as for the gamer's we'd have a lot more fun with it. The possibilities.
