Fact is: even a year after launch, all mods can do, is give new paintjobs. There are no additional ships to get, nor anything else gamechanging. Its paint. Thats all. And yes, some of them look awesome, but the modsupport for this game is severly lacking.
They could also add notorious outlaws and such that can be hunted down to get access to special modified ships and paintjobs.
Devs are working on modkit and dlc.
You can get used to bad controls. But you can not get used to a lacklustre gameworld.
But yeah, I agree there are issues with controls as well.

You and me both, personally i hope we get a new heavy hull type ship that focuses exclusively on firepower with less cargo space and more hard points, turrets maybe even missile turrets. Also the ability to own and manage multiple ships at the same time.
Still, I like the designs we've got for the most part. They really capture the feel of being a broke-a$$ outlaw on the fringe of space. I'd just like one with at least three turrets, or if we MUST have so few, can't we put a buddy in them? That would be awesome.
edit-crap, I forgot to say thank you. So thank you.
