auto manager broken

hi, thanks for the update, but the new auto manager is broken. sometimes taking a new software contract, the manager will not assign work.i can't tell what triggers it, but it has to do with the order in which the commands are issued. trust me, it's bugged, it happened a couple times already.

You already have 27 drop down menus, why on earth you couldn't add another with a list of things the manager can order his guys to do is beyond me. I may want them to stop working on a contract to do the software for a new product. that may happen automagically according to you, but putting a tad of player agency back into the game wouldn't go amiss.

After testing last night the issue is within the lead developer. After that point. if a product creation screen is pulled up or anything in the factory that reverts quest progress, the function will break until the game is restarted. All auto manage routes are lost and will not update properly. my only workaround at the moment is to hire an exclusive team to work on modules then add them to a manager later or the more profitable strategy is to revert your sales executive to pure hardware contracts and fill your factory with makers to fulfill those, it frees the managers to assign towards the features, but once again if the bug hits for the auto route, restart the game.
