What did happen with shamans in Kotrar?

I was trying to get all 4 blessings for Sadirar, came to Kotrar but there is no option to visit shamans. And I finished their quest a couple of weeks before. WTF?

As it tells you when you visited, the wind shamans (and the wind tribe in general) move around a lot. They weren't there when you visited so you'll have to come back later.

Is it a bad joke? I travelled to Kotrar in a month and shamans are not there again. You have to run through all 4 villages beginning from Utvorar in order to reach Sadirar in time with all 4 blessings. Cause a blessing lasts 14 days only. No shamans in Kotrar is enlarging game time artificially without any meaningful sense, forcing player to repeat such dull task.

If you are ok with save-scumming, just save the game prior to entering. If they aren't present, reload and try again.

It will only reroll if you've been gone a sufficiently long period of time (not sure exactly, might be as little as a week or as long as a month). Also you can use the New Day autosave if for some reason you're trying to avoid manual saves.

Save-scumming did not help. I had to use an old save when wind shamans travelled with me (i.e. before finishing their quest). Instead of travelleing to Kotrar, I travelled to Utvorar, got its blessing, then another tribe and their blessing and only then finished wind tribe's quest in Kotrar, automatically gaining their blessing. And then headed to 4th tribe and Sadirar.

Don't know what you did wrong, but savescumming does work.

The best way to deal with that, especially if you don't want to save scum, is to just get the wind tribe's blessing first. The other tribes don't have this issue of all deciding to go walkabout at the same time so at that point you just need to hoof it to all the other tribes before the blessings run out.

It is nearly impossible to reach Sadirar in time, if you start from Kotrar. A blessing lasts 14 days only. So, you have to start from Utvorar.

The Kotrar blessing gives you extra movement, and even without that, when I marched with a decent caravan setup from Utvorar to Sadirar obtaining all four blessings I still had at least 7 days left on the Utvorar Blessing. Starting from Kotrar shouldn't be anywhere close to impossible.

That said I still prefer save-scumming.

It's perfectly possible to start with the Windtribe (if you're all mounted-that is). They also return within a week of being absent (which is actually stated in the description of Kotrar).

So yeah, not so much impossible task and more lack of using brain to figure out a problem that a 2nd grader could :D .

You don't need to be all-mounted, just use some more of your march points.

That said I think I may have had different mounts then, which may have helped (I wasn't all-mounted though).

The only mounts that would give you trouble are the reptile ones (it might even be impossible with them).

I've yet to see the value in using reptile mounts anyway. Their piss-weak combat bonuses and minor reduction in crew requirements are massively offset by their vast food requirements and their pathetic march movement points, so never bothered to use them.

Yeah, Reptiles are generally questionable, but the mounts especially.
