You can actually obtain the Ahskulite's blessing of unbinding for free if (contrary to Vrak's request) you inform the candle sellers at the Temple of Ahskul about his plight. The blessing allows your companions to hurt specters. They have a pretty high evade chance, so they're still annoying to fight.

Yeah forgot to mention you need the unbinding blessing and not the normal one:)

I went ahead and spoke to the church about his ...problem ....and they gave me a quest charm to use against them....and it worked...like a charm! HAHA
