appreciate your reply! are you referring to the Hidden Compartment gear that can be bought from the gang in shelter? I think that's different from smuggler's compartment since it is a quest item needed on Harvek's storyline

You can buy it in multiple settlements as well. At least i encountered it twice. But not in the big ones.

thanks for the response though upping this one again. I believe Hidden Compartment is different from Smuggler's compartment. I have the two hidden compartment but the quest needs smuggler's compartment

Hmmm looking for it myself for the same quest - was under the impression that this was "hidden compartments" but apparently that item does not allow to progress the quest. Is there another, similar item or is the quest bugged?

The rank 4 reward for Loaders/Carpenters guild is Smuggler's Compartments - haven't tested this works for the Harvek quest, but it might be what you want
