My point being that anything you can imagine no matter how crazy silly or just insane you think it is 9 times out of ten 10 it can be done the mix of sandbox, evil god sim, story telling makes ruinarch such a worth while game and its currently 20% off which to me seems like the devs saying get it now before we up the price to fit the huge amount of free content that we are making because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they make a lot of extra content for us and not liek a cash grab no i mean they interact with the community and figure out what we want to see added and make it happen for example the werewolves didn't always have the powerful wolf mechanic no they just was lycans not full werewolves this game is so worth the money just for the fact the dev team cares unlike countless games made by companies like EA or CD Project Red etc.. worth a quick buy while its in sale i rate this 11/10.
I figured that, it looks like a well-thought out game with many mechanics. Good to see the passion being put in a game like this every now and then. Waiting till i get paid then Ill get it
It tries to pass itself off as a storytelling game with emergent gameplay but the tools aren't broad enough to achieve that. The things listed in the store page you can do are written in such a way to make you imagine the possibilities, but no, you're basically just limited to exactly the descriptions on the store page. It's also not set up for multisession play. Not really. They're less like worlds live in and more like levels to clear.
You can kind of play it like an evil sims game if you take one small map, go puppetmaster, and mess with the lives of the poor villagers. I feel like that's not as interesting on a larger map because there's too much going on to follow. But the larger maps are ok for spreading a plague or attacking villages directly.
Might get better with more development. For now it's entertaining for an afternoon here and there.
