What do I need to summon demon?

I can't for some reason, which is preventing me from kidnapping a villager, as the party must be headed by a demon, which I am incapable of summoning for some reason, how do I summon it? how do I do anything? Can I even command any of my units in any way at all?

neither, I just can neither select it nor place it onto the map. I can't even use the demon to snatch as the same problem arises again.

What archetype are you using? All of them start with demons.

I was using puppetmaster at the time, I had a prison, I had imps, my lust demon had charges, I try to arrange a snatching, I click on my lust demon to select her, nothing happens, lust demon still isn't set as party leader, I still can't send the party out to kidnap.

Yeah, most likely your demon must be captured. You need to undeploy them from Kennel or Prison or Marauder.

They weren't deployed in the first place, I hadn't done anything with the demon before, as this was the start of the game, & I was unable to deploy the demon in the first place.

I cant too, the only way to summon those big demons is through snatching party request right now.

I would like to know how to summon a demon as well. It seems like I should be able to, but there is no way to actually do it. Things aren't explained very well in this game. I can't snatch a villager because I can't summon a demon to lead the group.

There is a UI that opens up to create your Snatch Party. You can access it from the demonic structure. You choose a demon as its leader and then you can also add monster minions to the Party. When you try to choose a leader, are there no demons available in the list?

I think you have to specify every aspect of your snatch mission - not only your demon, but all the party members, selected and confirmed, as well, as the target - and have plenty of mana: a demonic party is expensive like daylight robbery.

It doesn't worth it though, if you are the puppetmaster. You can just max out your psychopathy affliction, and find someone who can fight well to kill blessed people and also whatever race lives in nearby villages. And you can also create lazy cleptomaniac cowards - for way less mana - to steal from everyone and be less productive in general. Cultists don't do much compared to people declaring wars on each other without retaliating against you for sending out demons.
