A quick introduction

Hi Guys!

We are the creators of the praised Cube Escape series and the premium point-and-click adventures Rusty Lake Hotel, Rusty Lake: Roots and Rusty Lake Paradise. Rusty Lake is an indie game studio, based in Amsterdam. Since spring 2015 we have developed surrealistic adventure games that take place in the Rusty Lake universe. The studio consists of two people: Robin and Maarten. Inspired by the humor and uneasiness of David Lynch's TV series Twin Peaks we decided to create our own imaginative world called Rusty Lake. We started out with the eerie and surreal Cube Escape series. We tried to add something new to the point-and-click genre by creating a lot of suspense and atmosphere in an "escape room" setting.

In our 3 years of existence we have released nine Cube Escape episodes which are free to play on iOS, Android and online:

Connections and background info on Paradox

All of the games have interesting and strange connections with each other and every installment revealing more about the Rusty Lake mystery. Cube Escape: Paradox will be tenth game in the Cube Escape series but this doesn't mean you have to play the other 9 games first. For this Cube Escape we developed a story that matches the accompanying film and therefore it will be perfect for any Rusty Lake / Cube Escape fan. Maybe re-releasing them on steam?
Because right now flash is kinda dead and having it installed is a security risk, so playing flash game is kinda problematic.

The games on steam are also flash games.

The browser plug-in is a security risk, but you can download the SWF files from the site (use developer tools or View Source to get the URL) and use them with the stand-alone Flash player.
