can't get through the woods

I'm out in the woods, following the map, get to the place where the creepy guy with the glowing eyes is lying in a heap on the ground. I know I'm supposed to click him and then quickly click the circle on his body ... but the game reacts so slowly to my mouse that I can't click fast enough.

I don't have these issues on any other games -- but in this one, the mouse is super delayed. Any suggestions?

Only thing a can suggest is closing every other application.

For me, the two times this game really lags are when I'm using the phone or in the woods. I've tried adjusting the quality, closing other programs, turning sound off, changing the resolution, changing the speed of the mouse and changing the double click ratio. None of these work.

For OP, I clicked like a madman in the woods because it's so unresponsive. I have to click about six times to move in any direction in the woods.

I had the exact problem on a Macbook Pro 13" 2015. A temporary solution for this was to play in window mode and make the screen smaller. That way it was a little more responsive.

Thank you! I had tried this so many times and this worked immediately. I didn't even realize it was a click delay issue.
