[Bug] Purchased Chapter 2, Can't Access It, HELP!
Hello!

I am a backer of huge fan of these games, a while back I used a promo code to purchase the game and Chapter 2 on Steam. However, after completing Chapter 1 I do not have access to Chapter 2. It has a lock symbol above the door and when I click on it, it asks me to purchase the game. When I go to the Steam store it says Chapter 2 is already in my library so I can't download or purchase it again. When I right click on the game and select "View Downloadable Content" it shows up as Installed and the box is checked. I tried unchecking the box, restarting Steam, checking the box, and restarting Steam, but no change. It says "Installed" again instantaneously when I re-check the box. I tried verifying the game cache, didn't work. Maybe this is what I get for completing Chapter 1 but not going back for Chapter 2 for months but please I need help!

Hi! So RustyLake reached out to me and offered to help. None of their suggestions worked, eventually they just gave me a free access key to download chapter two and play it off of Steam. However, I later deleted and re-installed Steam due to a separate issue I was having, and when that happened and I opened Cube Escape Paradox Chapter 2 was suddenly available! So that would be my suggestion. Here are the steps you need to follow to do this and not lose any save data:

- Exit Steam if you have it running
- Drag the Steam application from the location you installed it in (Applications by default) to the Trash.
- Open the Finder, Go to your Macintosh HD folder (access this from Devices in the left column).
- Hold down CMD-Shift-Period, All the hidden files will become visible.
- Next, go to User/[your username]/Library/Application Support/Steam.
- Delete all of the files and folders in the /Steam folder except for /SteamApps and /userdata.
- Re-download Steam and reinstall the application.
- Launch Steam.app from your Dock or Applications folder.

That is what worked for me, and it also helped with other downloading and updating issues I was having.

Hope this helps!
