Possible to hide app in friends list & Discord?

Hey,

everytime I launch any VR game on steam it shows on my Steam friends list that I'm "playing" fpsVR, sometimes even over the game I'm actually playing. Is there a possibility to deactivate or hide that? I don't care that it's in my last played section, I just don't want it as my online status everytime I start SteamVR.

The same issue occurs with Discord displaying that i'm "playing" fpsVR, is there a workaround for that maybe?

Perhaps not quite what you are looking for, but it may partly help.

Condition: You must own a copy of the fpsVR for at least 14 days.
In-app status will still appear but will disappear after about 10-15 seconds

Thanks, yeah unfortunately it will still show up everytime I launch anything in steamVR. Disabling the auto-launch and just using it manually from time to time seems to be the way to go for now.

Also I guess the Discord issue seems to be something only they can "fix" on their end.
