Can't push all the buttons in temple catacombs

I got into the temple via the sewers, it leads into a room with stone coffins, some dedicated to saints, and the other ones to unknown. I pushed the secret button, then pushed the button in the coffin, but try how I might, even with an egg to speed myself up, I can't push the button in the next coffin. The speed required plus the lining up with the button after getting past obstacles makes it nigh on impossible. Is there some other way to do the buttons without having to be an expert in platform games?

i did it easily without any eggs, but then i always invest in athletics. It makes a huge difference. The strange egg is probably overkill as it makes your character tough to control.
If you're completely stuck you could respec your character with better athletics (10 points probably). it costs a lot though. Like a gold piece or 2.) Also, check you're not encumbered.

i did it without a strange egg or any points in athletics (mage build), but yeah the timing is veeeeeeeery tight. plus the position of the pillars will often make you stuck since theres not quite enough room between the coffins and the pillars to just walk between them. i had the best luck jumping on top of the coffins and looking down rather than trying to run up their sides

anyway, it is possible, but its got really tight timing, especially if you didnt put points in athletics

Remove your armour and forget the egg. Then it's practice makes perfect.

Whereas I can push them all and then nothing happens. Am I not quite pushing one of the buttons hard enough or something? This is the only secret I've found in the game that seems to do absolutely nothing.

youre definitely missing one
there are buttons to press aaaalllll along the entire corridor in a long sequence
when you get to the last one, the central plinth in the middle of the room with that plaque will open up and youll see a lever inside it (i think it was a lever); pulling that will open the gate

How many buttons are there ? Are they all in the unknown graves ? I have badly shaky hands and haven't managed to catch the button in the 2nd grave yet ... :(

i didnt count but i think around 7 or 8. you have to press them one after another

The one with the skeleton parts sticking out from underneath the pillar as if it came down and squashed him?

I'm only getting 3 buttons in. The three Unknown tombs, that is.

even with my encumbrance down, and being much faster, I still haven't completed it. It is a combination of my own janky computer and my own crap dexterity. It is frustating to get through the game on careful strategy and plenty of saves, only to come to a point where you have solved a puzzle but you cant complete it due to physical or hardware problems .

Or my ageing hands. I enjoy this game but become frustrated with the developer's obsession with platforming.

If there are multiple ways to solve a puzzle that's fine, have the platforming option for the parkour fans, or if it isn't an important part of the story so not solving it doesn't stop you, then yeah, make it hard for the obsessive completionists. I am assuming this is part of the main quest to get the seed though and now I have to stop playing...which is to say, I love this game, it's great, and it's one bloke doing it and I want to encourage him, but I can't go any further.

Obstacles are jumps.
There are five buttons to push and a lever to pull at the end.
The lever appears when the gold panel in the center slides out.

I second this, really enjoyed the game and hate to give up on it but without a second method I can't do this- computer speed and my own coordination just won't allow.
