Breaking vases

Is there a point? I've broken like 100 and never found anything. Am I missing something?

I have found stuff in barrels, and in throwable boxes... but also cannot recall ever having found anything in vases. You CAN stand on them to climb though.

Yes, barrels and boxes, but nothing in vases for me. I hope this is something that will change.

at least get an achievement for smashing say, 100 vases?

I am in the Royal Grave and just starting smashing the larger vases and there are items in them. it makes me wonder if I should have been smashing the vases the whole game, but I can't confirm if the little ones drop anything.

Big Vases, yes. Small vase, no. I assume there will be a low chance at random items later like barrels and such.
