The ring is buried in the Upper Serpent Bastion, on the large ledge with a cave blocked by a blue barrier. To get to the ledge, jump from the top of the right watch tower - the wooden one, not the stone towers. You will need a shovel - a ring of mushrooms surrounds the spot to dig. It's named simply "Ring of Focus", but that is Pyromancer Argus' ring from the notes.
I hope this game gets more content and polish it's been fun so far but the loot system and character development needs some work I think.
My character has 10 lockpicking 20 cosmic magic I was able to open all doors and all chests except the wardrobe in barracks which only contains leather leggings so thats fine. I also had 21 int and 14 focus but I think we don't get more spell slots yet I believe? That also needs to be fixed as it makes casting less fun.
Otherwise, I agree. Most of the skills need work and balancing. The worst part is most of them start doing something at an investment of 10 points, which is 5 levels. That's a lot of investment for a skill to do nothing. Search is the worst, i think - it's starts actually highlighting doors and switches at 15 plus, and it's an activated effect. That's just ridiculous.
