opinion on the expansions

they are currently on sale. i grabbed the base game and i love it. seems a bit hard to find other people willing to play but the single player experience is great. how much do the expansions add to the game? do they improve it? does it have issues with busted cards and things like that? i dont see a lot of feed back on them so not really sure what to expect
i also play wingspan on steam too and i ended up avoiding the dlc because it sounds like it has issues with bugs and the added cards don't necessarily improve the game so thats a bit of my thinking.

I really like the expansions. Amulets are way more interesting than the default spoilage mechanic, and leaders make players adopt a slightly (or drastically!) different strategy than each other. Only real downside is the expansions dilute the cardpool a bit, so you can't plan on seeing a specific card (not that you really could *before* the expansions. but now you *really* can't).

Also each expansion (as well as leaders/amulets specifically) can be toggled in the game setup.

I would like to be able to review the advancement cards available to purchase before I select my amulet and leader. Right now half the deck is hidden from me. There should be a way to toggle to the main screen while choosing leader and amulet.
