Honestly...
probably gunna say no to this... looks like the same UI...different artwork on the cards... not keen to pay again for all those expansions if its just all artwork...

Im assuming somehow the devs will make the 5th edition worse and anti consumer

I own all the expansions on switch and steam..... are you going to let us use our nomad accounts to bridge over content or is this a money grab?

Nobody is excited to pay for recycled content with minimal effort... not to be super negative I'm just not trusting remakes now

If you want a suggestion make the arrows on the expansion map light up or something :P

Also please include the old classic art

Well this was rushed opinion, sorry thats your take, but its a brand new game from ground up you can see that they are even making 3d Models from the "Talisman: Digital 5th Edition - Official Announcement Trailer" that you can see on the youtube channel.

The thing is that from the evry first edition to the current 5th Edition the base game was always the same. What made each Talisman unique was the expansions that were released to it. So yeah, while the core game seems like recycled (though, there are some changes made), it will be expansions that will make it different from the 4th Digital Edition. And considering that this time around it's Avalon Hill that makes the game, I don't think the expansions will be recycled. I'm pretty sure we will get new expansions.

I agree with OP. I'm lucky enough to preorder the season pass version of the original so I got all the DLC for nothing extra.
No way would I pay for the huge amount of DLC they will be regurgitating for this version.
If they made it a complete version, I would buy it but I don't see this company change it's colours.

Sorry man, art is subjective (but personally I found the 4th far way more classy)but the worst thing is that the new rules seem to be meant for sore losers and minimize the butthurt, so to speak.
Toadifing lasting 1 turn, not losing anything? Now it is meaningless.

That's your own opinion, and that's fine! However, that does seem like a pretty negative assumption to make - if there's something that stands out as a reason why you're making that assumption, let me know and I'll do my best to address it :)

First of all, thanks for the support! We are indeed going to be working to allow signing into your Nomad Account across both Talisman: Digital Classic Edition and Talisman: Digital 5th Edition.

To clarify, when you say 'bridge over content', do you mean use expansions from 4th Edition in 5th Edition? As far as I'm aware, the physical version of 5th Edition is going to have it's own unique expansions that are designed for 5th Edition.

We're putting in a ton of effort into making Talisman: Digital 5th Edition - I can promise that.

Hopefully they add something like Timescape again
