Rice farm and hunger
I don't know if it is a bug or something but i can have a ♥♥♥♥ ton of farm and rice farm that take most of the ground like three rice farm per houses but still get a hunger problem out of nowhere. I look at the AI and they have so low farms. It just it happens out of nowhere it go 5 min into the game or 20 min into the game then out of nowhere the hunger raises super high and have use almost all ground to make rice farm and still just have it on double ration that's why i think it maybe is a bug but i wanted to see if somebody-else get problem too.

Note* i have fruit farm too and pig-farm but it is always the rice farm that is the problem.

8 rice farms should be able to support 64 peasants on standard rations, 16 support like a 100 or so, depends on rations, its very hard to keep double rations unless you have like a mouse/oxen warlord for extra resource, but it shoudn't be to hard.
Do note Rice farms and especelly veggie farms have startup times, food won't start coming imedietly so you can end getting like 64 population imedeitly, but your food doesn't start coming in and you start losing for a bit, but again it shouldn't be too bad or hard.

1 food building supports 1 house.
You have free 8 pop at start, so you need n+1 farms where n is a number of houses.
As said above, food takes time to grow, you won't instantly get income from farms and rice fields.

yeah understand this but it just some matches the hunger just spikes random and i literally have like 12 farm on 7 houses and this happens random, it takes up so much land just have rice farm then i have to wonder where should i build castle wall and things like because the farm take up so much space. It just the randomness that make me question this i can have same build but have no problem some matches and then other matches with the same build have big hunger problems that just spikes of out a nowhere. i can see if i can screenshot next time i play a match. Sorry for my bad english but i hope i have made me understood.

You are issuing additional food ratios.

Nothing else increases food consumption, only current population and how much ratios you assign to it.

Nothing.
Else.

Not during multiplayer, not during campaign.

The only reason you wold not get sufficient food with these ratios is if you have put farms and pantry on completely opposed corners of your build area.

Looks like old bug from Crusader 2 where production frequency was unstable.

Nah its just that in Crusader 2 food flucturated from 1 to 3 food eaten per peasant, i have no idea what OP is doing but its definitely fixed [hell most of the economy is]
If anything OP you could try fear factor to boost food gains.
