About the story(Spoiler warning)

Here are some of my personal views. My English is not well, don’t mind me.

Each of them have metaphor.
Cat, Bat, Shadow girl Iris’s heart.
Cat is “Find the truth”
Bat is “Fear of heart”
Girl and shadow girl is combine cat and bat.

Chapter 1
The girl lose color.
The girl follow the cat.
(The girl finding the truth.)

Chapter 2
Bat attack cat, and the cat flee
Cat attack shadow girl, and the cat flee.
(Fear shake the girl)

Chapter 3
Shadow girl separate from the girl.
Cat and shadow girl get cloak by cooperation, and passed together.
Picture 1 Grandma doing Puppetry. Girl fight who have bat cloat.
Picture 2,3 Grandma and girl
Picture 4 Grandma paper cutting. A girl puppet on the floor. One girl open the door.
Picture 5 The girl in the dilapidated house
Picture 6 Grandma and book.
(Girl conquer the fear, and find the picture is same with her memory)

Chapter 5
Shadow girl follow the cat.
Cat go in, the shadow girl hesitated.
(Fear again)

Chapter 6
Open the book.
(the book is about alchemy)

Chapter 7
Enter the book.
Fall in the book.
Cat show girls bag, A paper cutting in the bag.
Cat take off the book, the girl fall. And shadow girl transform bat to save the girl.
(The cat discover the truth, but cat want hidden it.
Inner fear helped her stand up)

Chapter 8
In the machine, the girl setting of lifeless on the floor, and grandma closer.
Cat run around with book, theater is alive.
Shadow girl fall trap, and girl save her.
Girl and shadow girl activation device together.
Cats change head.
The girl and shadow girl destroy the book.
Color is back.
The girl became puppet.
(Girl discover the truth, The book is Forbidden alchemy, It have magic make the puppet alive
But it have to pay the price, the theater lost its color.
Grandma made the iris, made her alive, give her fake memory, when she debt of nature, she let iris go to the outside.
Iris have nightmare, want to find truth, but the truth is Cruel, lies is cracked. Magic is gone , and Iris back to the puppet.
The truth may be cruel. But we can't live in illusion.)
I think the book is alchemy, because it have Triangle and eye pattern, its look like Eye of Providence..
And other opinion is the book is design everything in the theater, Iris find her memory is same with the book,so the all is illusion..
