Game Won't Load Up!!!

I try booting up the game, but when it says "loading game" before it even gets to the main menu, it quits and gives me the error message "'moveable_item_shotgun' previously defined at def/d3xp-items.def:488

And I can't play it. Thinking of refunding, but I LOVE the DooM franchise, especially how the new one looks coming out in 2016.

That's very weird I never had problems of all doom games on steam. (Just played roe coop)

Oh, I forgot about this discussion...I've been able to fix it and play it, so yeah.

Hey can I get some help with this? Maybe a solution if you can remember one? Please I really need to get this game running or else I would have wasted money sense I can't refund it now.

Try using one of the source ports, dhewm³ for example.

Does Dhewm work with mods? The main reason I got this game is to try out "Doom 3 Phobos" which is a mod that requires Resurrection of evil.

Phobos isn't supported yet, but developers are working on it.
