A CD KEY???

I haven't bought a physical copy of a game if 10 years... and your looking for a CD key??

It's in your Steam client. Check game's properties.

I have the same problem, I can find the CD KEY, but it's the same as the ROE Key

go to your game menu, right click the doom game, hover over " manage " click cd key.

This is going to sound really dumb, and I felt very dumb after realizing the issue. RoE is a sequel, and it REQUIRES you to have the Doom 3 client downloaded and running in the background. Make sure you have Doom 3 downloaded BEFORE trying to play RoE, otherwise it won't play.

The CD Key for Resurrection of Evil (RoE) is already shown in the pop-up that is shown and asks for a CD Key to start the game. The CD Key that is required for RoE to start the game is the CD Product Code/Key for Doom 3 and the easiest way to get that follows:
1. Go to your Steam Library and right-click your Doom 3 game showing in your list of games.
2. Hover your mouse over Manage and then left-click CD Keys to see the Product Code for Doom 3.
3. Either manually copy the Doom 3 Product Code onto a piece of paper, or left-click the Copy Key to Clipboard bar and then paste it on a document such as MS Word that you can print and keep for future use.
4. Start your RoE game again and manually enter your Doom 3 Product Code/Key in the pop-up area asking for the Doom 3 CD Key.

problem, i have the BFG edition but it does not have a key for me to use, i have hte key for ROE but its asking for the doom 3 key and i don't have one and when i go over it in my games and manage game there is no code to look at.
