Doom Resurrection of evil' s CD KEY doesn' t work

Hello,
in my steam' s Library there is a valid CD Key but When I try to enter it, it says this is not a valid Key. What Should I do about this problem.

I just had this happen to me but found a quick easy fix. Just go to your game library on steam and install Doom 3. Resurrection Of Evil uses all the same game files so it won't take any time to download it. Then just run Doom 3, close it, then run Resurrection Of Evil. For Some reason the cd key for the expansion won't run without the base game installed.
