most computers have multiple sound card options . USB Head phones ,
on-board realtek , etc .
regardless of Window's Default settings . Music Maker allows
choosing ANY sound card for playback .
Choose to use Magix Low Latency ( 1 + 2 ) ASIO driver , then below that , click
"Advanced" button . Now In the black box dialogue box , click the Wrench at the lower
Right corner to view the entire black box dialogue .
On the left side Pane , Select any sound card you want to use for play back .
( the sound card you choose does NOT have to be window's Default )
,...
you could have window's Default playing audio on AMD HDMI driver to TV speakers ,
( other programs will enumerate to find and use only window's Default sound card )
while Music Maker plays with on-board realtek external speakers .
literaly ,
multiple programs will be using 2 sound sysytems playing simaltaniouslly .
note :
Music Maker takes Exclusive control of isound card you choose,
which locks out all other programs from uisng that sound card .
( the above mentioned scenario works good ) .
If i want to Split audio devices , here is what i do :
i set window's Defualt audio playback to use AMD HDMI to TV speakers .
( set to Default and Default communications device ) 2 settings in window's .
in Music Maker i use Magix ASIO ( 1 + 2 ) driver ,
next , in Advanced button ,
i select to use realtek HD audio . i can then
listen and watch youtube videos to TV speakers ,
while Music Maker plays thru realtek external speakers
