ConceptionPlus-Launcher.exe is missing
the folder 'launcher' does not exist, there is no way to config the game currently. Editing the json file forces Steam to redownload the default setting

No it doesn't, it's just that there's no UI to change graphical options and keybindings.

Ugh, and I was so excited to play this one after I played Conception 2 ages ago on my old Vita.

I'm getting the same issue. The game launches fine, but there's no indication of what the controls are mapped to on the keyboard, the Steam config/launcher tool appears to be missing, and I generally have no idea what I'm doing. I'll try again in a few days to play this game without going through tons of trial and error to out the controls, and hopefully I'll be able to use the config to actually set it to fullscreen and stuff, but for now, this doesn't look good.

By default, the launcher files are downloaded to:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ConceptionPlus\launcher
ConceptionPlus-Launcher.exe

Please contact our support team with the following information:
1)A description of the issue
2)Your Steam app directory (What directory did ConceptionPlus.exe download to?)

Okay, seriously? It can't be that hard. The launcher folder with the Configuration launcher.exe and files inside is missing. This should be fixed by now. It should've been fixed immediately. It can't be that difficult to update the game with the files that should've been there in the first place.

The files are most definitely not in there.

Fix your game
The launcher folder is not located in the game files whatsoever, either fix it with an update or give us the files so that we can manually put it in the folder. This is pretty ridiculous. I have seen in other discussions how to change the graphical settings, and in theory it should work, but to reiterate, this doesn't work because we don't have the files in the first place. It doesn't even seem like you guys are aware of this either or you're just ignoring it.

Edit: For anyone reading this who simply wants to play this game in fullscreen, ALT+ENTER works.

Still trying to debug as we speak, downloading to multiple different drives. But seems like everyone is universally having this same issue.

It would be nice to have some acknowledgement from them. It's been less than 24 hours, but still how hard is it to be like, "we hear you".

Maybe the Negative reviews this game is getting will teach them that the .exe is actually not with the game, instead of talking down to people and telling them they're looking in the wrong folder

It's why it baffles me that they chose to make an evening release in their timezone. Not only did PC players wait longer than console users, that also means any hotfix is out of the question until the following day.

Wow, that is a huge oversight, well I have to be honest the lack of communication drove me away from the purchase, went with code vein.

Legit all we need are some files that they claim exist, like just post a dl link and us epic pc gamers are smart enough to put the files in ourselves

Yeah, downloaded on all my drives, definitely not my end or anyone elses end. The files simply aren't there.

To anyone still wondering: you can play in fullscreen (although it's a temporary workaround) by opening the config file, replacing "Windowed" by "Fullscreen", manually inputting your resolution in the XxY format (1920x1080, for instance) and setting the file as read only. I have no idea whether the framerate is capped or not and how v-sync is handled above 60Hz, however.
Like this? It's set to read-only.

Because it still launches in a tiny window.

Yep, that's what I did. It's weird that it doesn't act the same way on your computer, though... Maybe it is because I did it before the first launch?

Just checked on SteamDB, and yeah: the launcher is currently only included with the dev versions. https://steamdb.info/depot/906513/subs/
