clipping through map? [SPOILERS FOR ENDING]
ive noticed during some cutscenes when you're in the sphere and being moved around, you will be moved through the map, as if you're offset a bit to the wrong position, going through parts of the station next to doorways or something similar. the most notable of this is at the end of the game, spoilers below describing this:

the most notable examples are in the end of the game, when you're being carried, you often times clip through the rocks, mostly when she's climbing up one or, right as your passing the first body, you are mostly floating through the left wall of rocks.

has anyone else had this issue? i also feel like the last memory puzzle was supposed to be a bit more centered, the symbols flicker so the 'smaller' flicker was fully on screen, so it worked out, but im not sure if that was intentional or not.

Had the exact same issue. Clipping through rocks and the map. Jumping around. I have noticed that the animations in this game are quite bad. Character face animation is early/mid 2000s tier. The whole game feels disjointed when it comes to the animations. I also noticed that Emma doesn't move her mouth or face when she talks to you if the game isn't in a cut scene. Pretty disappointing tbh.

yeah. alot of that is disappointing, but damn the story is just so good, imo.

I just finished the game (on PC) and didn't notice any clipping at all in the final area while being carried, or anywhere else in the game for that matter. And yeah, fantastic story!

What did you like about the story?

all of it? im not sure there was a specific bit i liked. the parts where it got super weird with the object and the goo and all that, esp around the spacewalk when we start getting into multiverse territory. from then on was prob my fav part

I didn't have any problem with her mouth not moving outside of cutscenes - must be a bug :/

I don't mind the animations but the clipping is so lazy

one big ugly blemish on this otherwise great game

I've seen a youtube playthrough of the same scene and they didn't get the same clipping; it seems like it may have been a bug introduced sometime after release? It's unfortunate and it kinda screws up that part of the scene, but I guess that's the price of having the entire game be 'in-engine', rather than relying on pre-rendered cutscenes.

Same here - it would appear that the script is a bit off there.
I wouldn't mind really if it weren't out of synch with discovering your own body.

To me, it seems like devs used root motion for those long sequences and the root motion easily desynchronizes (just 1 frame skip is enough) and screws up the rest of the animation synch with the environment. If some programmer still keeps an eye on this product, please try disabling root motion in-engine and reimporting the animations so that the root bone (the one between feet) stays in the world's origo and other bones move relative to it (you might want to attach extra colliders to movable bones).

During my first run I hadn't such issues (Core i7 12650H, RTX 3070 Laptop), but on my second run on my desktop rig (5800X3D, RX 6800 XT) it happened a lot. Emma sometimes disappeared into the walls of the space station or suddenly "jumped" from one position to another when waiting for SAM to catch up. Plus I had the same clipping issue OP described during the ending.
