How do I use this game with an Xbox 360 Plug in Controller?

TItle says it all, I don't have a working mouse, and im on laptop, using the pad installed on the Laptop isn't the best option.


I'd really like to play this game and any help would be greatly Appreciated! Thank you In Advance!

I believe Hexen 2 doesn't support gamepads. I don't know much about it, but there is a tool you can download that makes it so just about every game will work with a controller. I don't even remember what it's called, but if you Google it, I'm sure you can find it.

Just a little tip: scroll down a game's store page, and you'll see a list of "features" (ex: Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Steam achievements/Steam Cloud, etc.). If a game supports a gamepad, it'll say either "Full controller support" or "partial controller support." Partial controller support simply means that a controller will work, but you'll usually need to input a button configuration, or you may still need to use the mouse in order to navigate the pause menu.

Don't bother wasting resources on a joy2key program when you can just download a source port that supports the controller. Take a quick look on the forum because I forget what it's called (Hammer of something) and enjoy Hexen 2 in the best way possible.

Steam controller works great... I don’t have an Xbox controller but I think you can map them to key strokes?!?’
