Problem with model/mouse turning left

When I start the game in SP/MP the model is just running in circles, like the mouse is stuck to "left" or running left.. How to fix this, anyone?

Dunno if you're still following this or not, but I was having the same problem. In my case it turns out that there was some sort of compatibility issue with having an Xbox 360 controller hooked up to the computer. As soon as I unhooked the controller, it worked perfectly.

Try using Hammer of Thyrion source port from here:

Probably won't help but worth a try

I was able to fix it by typing "joystick 0" then "+mlook" in console every time I started, but I did end up switching to that source port anyway which doesn't require me to type in any commands. thx tho!
