The game wont start

I open the game and when it starts up it says "Failed to initialize restart application and start again" I'm not sure what to do ive restarted my computer and steam. Is anyone else having this problem or have you figured out how to fix it?

actually the game starts but i always get the message connection to the server is lost, please try again

Have you tried to login again. after rechecking all your connections

The Error message says "An error has occurred while intialising the Steam. Please restart the application and try again"

So I fixed the problem just delete the game files and reinstall the game

I was getting this yesterday on every-other attempt to launch the game, but not today.
Seemed like I was getting the issue frequently when launching my steam installation without steam to get to the normal login-menu, but steam itself was launching it ok.

I'd since shut down steam and my computer since then, not sure why that'd make a difference tho.
