In the Xmas Sale 2018?

What are your thoughts on it being in the christmas sale this year?

That's not a sale but a permanent price drop. There was a recent sale on the PlayStation Network. The game was on sale there briefly for 19.99

The game is definitely not garbage. I don't own Nascar Heat 3 but I purchased Nascar Heat 2 along with the 2018 Season DLC. The AI is really good but my biggest complaint is the decision to go with the Unity Engine. It's fine for mobile games on Android and iOS but it's not so good for the PC where you have 40 cars. Shadowing of the environment looks underwhelming and performance in the game takes a hit with stutters and micro-stutters.

Put it this way, the aging Codemaster's Ego Engine looks 10 times better than Nascar Heat 3 and runs full max settings @ 60FPS. Definitely try and wait for the next Steam Sale.

I like how they are completely ignoring the PC verison. No esports for PC and not even trying to expand their audience. The PS4 version was $20 a few weeks back. A sale would've done nothing but benefit them and the online portion of the game. I enjoyed the time I spent with the game but there are too many issues and PC version isn't getting much support.
