Identity Theft

So, I see the reviews are still positive on Steam, despite the many reports I heard about identity theft on this game, as well as hackers, credit card thieves and uncaring devs (with some accusations that said devs are in on the theft).

Given that, I'd like to know: have any of you experienced shady behavior from the dev? Are any of these rumors well-founded? Given the reputation of developers from certain parts of the world (especially of free games), I'm inclined to run in the other direction and uninstalled this game a long time ago. I'm wondering how many of you are actually HAPPY with the state of this game and if you've experienced any problems with the developers.

It may help my understanding to get your perspective.

i been playing for a few years now and i havent had any issues with hackers and fraud, most "fishy" players are just the kinda ♥♥♥♥ servers and this season at least they are trying to balance units and stuff so improvements

While the game balance isn't the best, all my interactions with the devs have been good. I haven't seen any hackers, or anything resembling a scam or anything related to identity theft. Apparently the thing everybody calls a Trojan is an antivirus the devs use, and the rumor it steals info has been debunked. Personally, i never cared either way, because my info is DEFINITELY already out there with the fact i use google, Microsoft, apple, YouTube, and various other things lol.

Game balance needs work thats all maybe fix some server lags,but in all devs ar really nice people and although i have purchassed many things through my main bank acc and its all good all clear

i dont think he was pulling anything out of his ass, sounded to me more like he was asking if what he heard was true...

ive heard some similar accusations around the game from friends/people on other games but all my experiences with it thus far have been positive

Thank you all for your input. I've been wanting to play the game but what I was hearing really wasn't stacking up with the reviews, so I thought I'd get some input from the playerbase :) .

I'm really on the fence about this. I'm not sure I can put my time into a game where there are so many people screaming about scams and developers who outsource customer support to people that give single-statement replies.

I give up. Until the game devs can do better this game isn't for me. I'll see you guys in a few years when I check back again. The fact that no developers even came out to attend this thread is another bad sign.

What? You realize they got their title right? Thats an old video... and what do you mean "so many people" this kinda thing is VERY rare my guy. Not that youll see this, since your too afraid to see feedback on your opinion, calling us "haters" lol. Sad, lost another player today boys, but perhaps this one is for the best
