In higher levels, expeditions are just competitions who gets the most kills- it's impossible to lose.
Expeditions are right now the primary game mode against the AI. And there are a lot of players who like PvE, so this is actually a big problem.
I lost my last expedition when I was lv 60-80, now I'm almost 300.
Sieges are fun, but get repetitive, so the more options the better. Options this game needs if it is to survive.
This is why solo and PVE is so important, just to avoid trolling sometimes or make trolls less effective against regular players.
Or maybe a better way to say it is allow for more variety of gameplay instead of only one kind that happens to be easy to troll.
This goes for the fief system as well and open world camps to.
A few more missions, or new setups would be nice. Like, in the unit mastery mission there are pike units that begin to charge once you get too close to the archers. Something like this would be nice, so that the AI doesn't just run without a plan into charging cavalry
I don't have time to take care of other players who can't get their ass off. It takes forever for some to move. In this time I'm already halfway through the map.
Where you are right is that these bandit camps, expeditions have become absolutely pointless. For several seasons it has been the same Maps with the same bot paths. There can be no talk of fun. And then I'm supposed to watch out for beginners and leave something for them and my quest unfinished.
This game is an anti-teamplay game, because all specifications are designed in such a way that teamplay is not worthwhile.
