Useless Expeditions
Nowadays expeditions is more like a kill hogging game rather than cooperative game play , some horrible players just use heavy cal / reaper and charge to KO everything leaving the rest of the 4 players afking. Since they wanna finish off all the enemies by themselves why not make it a solo game instead ?
There shouldn't be any rewards for this game mode or make it all the same for all players in the match to discourage this kind of toxic behaviour.

They should definitely bring back the hard-ass "You're more likely to lose than win" expeditions of the beta days. I miss those desperate fights.

Weird, my Expedition III games are pretty normal. I usually get around 100-150 kills, i just need to remember the enemy directions

Why do you care? Just get your weekly's done and be done with it. If you care, then queue them with a team. If you're lame I guess you can queue them to level up your troops because your scared to lose units kits, but it doesn't seem worth my time to me.

im ok with this. i just afk in base, play for honor, come back every 5 minutes so the game doesnt kick me.

meanwhile a player or two kill the whole map with cataphract lancers

Expeditions do appear to being "farmed". I would suggest that they create SOLO expeditions that allow all units for farming.

Maybe a Cap of era per Expeditions
Exp 1 - Rustic, Feudal, Chivalric
Exp 2 - Rustic, Feudal, Chivalric, Silver
Exp 3 - Rustic, Feudal, Chivalric, Silver, Heroic

You're missing the point. The problem is when you lv up and get higher tier units, the expeditions become too easy. There is no challenge anymore and it quickly becomes boring that way.
In higher levels, expeditions are just competitions who gets the most kills- it's impossible to lose.
Expeditions are right now the primary game mode against the AI. And there are a lot of players who like PvE, so this is actually a big problem.
I lost my last expedition when I was lv 60-80, now I'm almost 300.

Agreed. The Calvary farmers makes it a boring experience. Expeditions are a form of PVE gameplay. Avoiding them means the game has one less activity, making the game feel even more like a grind.

Sieges are fun, but get repetitive, so the more options the better. Options this game needs if it is to survive.

This is why solo and PVE is so important, just to avoid trolling sometimes or make trolls less effective against regular players.

Or maybe a better way to say it is allow for more variety of gameplay instead of only one kind that happens to be easy to troll.

This goes for the fief system as well and open world camps to.
Worse for me that can't find expedition matches

Well, at least Jiujang and the Desert Fortress offer a bit of variety there since you can't just defend and kill everything at all 4 spawnpoints by yourself. But yeah, the expeditions are by now pretty much "Follow the guy with the Yanyu cav and kill the few guys that actually survived".

A few more missions, or new setups would be nice. Like, in the unit mastery mission there are pike units that begin to charge once you get too close to the archers. Something like this would be nice, so that the AI doesn't just run without a plan into charging cavalry

Only kills count in this game, everything else is secondary. It's dictated by the game. If the developers want it that way, then I play it that way, otherwise I won't get my quests completed.
I don't have time to take care of other players who can't get their ass off. It takes forever for some to move. In this time I'm already halfway through the map.

Where you are right is that these bandit camps, expeditions have become absolutely pointless. For several seasons it has been the same Maps with the same bot paths. There can be no talk of fun. And then I'm supposed to watch out for beginners and leave something for them and my quest unfinished.

This game is an anti-teamplay game, because all specifications are designed in such a way that teamplay is not worthwhile.
