Spawn trapping.
Just played a round where they simply walked into our last spawn which you can't overtake and already attacked us before you where even able to react. Apart from being extremely lame/scummy, it also makes no sense at all to allow this to happen.

My suggestion would be to simply have a few ballista's around this spot and if they move into this area be insta-gibbed by the ballista's. I can't imagine this being part of the game design.

Wouldn't this be considered, Cutting off the reinforcement supply line? So it makes a lot os sense. Gives the frontline time to clear and hold.

So the problem with this just being considered cutting off the supply line is that due to force respawn there is no automomy on the side getting camped to be able to hold for second to regroup. Done right by the offensive side you basically get to farm people 1 by 1 as they're spawned in and there is nothing they can do about it.

Being able to hold just outside the spawn point and disrupt reinforcements is totally legit. Because it allows the side spawning in, if coordinated, to regroup and push out (or get stuffed by whatever is outside the point).

Having access to hit the actual point and actually kill everything as they spawn in with no chance of regroup or counter attack is bad balance.

Also keep in mind that good pvp games is reactive game design. As in you see something happening and you can do something about it if you noticed it fast enough. That said you can "know" all about them standing there and you are able to do nothing about it. That is bad game design in a nutshell.

There are dozens of good way to cut the supply line. Standing ON the spawn point and farm enemies as soon as they spawn is not one of them.

This is not balanced at all.

you know you can choose when to spawn so youre not the only one??? i tough but you can get out of getting trapped, is usually only a few of them without been able to resupply their units. and you get like 5 secs of inmunity when you spawn

Of course i will abuse it now if i get the chance, still that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed. Also is there a reason why you implement shift w LMB in every comment around the forums or is that just a neurotic tick you have as it adds nothing to the current conversation ?

Edit: and i'm skilling the musket at the moment so shift w LMB spam will only make sure i don't reload which is somewhat counterproductive.

Yeah i know, but as i play solo most of the time there is at most just one person which i can "duo spawn" with as people ignore chat all together. It would be nice to have a solo que in this game i think that would fix allot of the problems with the gameplay. Some things only happen in stacked teams v.s solos.

Just happened again. This will most likely become to go to "tactic" for easy capture of the last point. This urgently needs to be looked at, since if all the other issues haven't chased people off this most definite will.

i agree this needs fixed. it's usally the last spawn to hold your base. yes i have spawned camp and have got spawned camped. blocking spawn camp should be allowed, but not standing on spawn people and killing as they spawn in.

There are fair/balanced way to prevent defenders going to the capture point. But how it is now in CB is NOT how it should be. Team Fortress 2 isnt the same genre but their spawn system is how it should be. Take a look at it and copy to CB.

just add another spawn point and problem fix, i think us kurak castle the map youre talking about and yes is META to camp spawn and let the pubs cap main
