What happened to the other regions?

I played early 2020, and just came back in late jan of this year. What happened to the other regions? There was Mao and Liang something lol. I made a new char when i came back and could only start in Varos

Secondly, what's up with the regions that I CAN see that you can't start in now because the roads are destroyed or some crap the game says lol. What happened and when is that going away?

i started about 3 weeks ago and i dont even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know. it prob has something to do with the scourge of winter campaign

It's all because of the current season's lore.

Liangyun and Maoyang were closed down on both sides of the fence due to a lack of population and warring iirc. I believe it, too, because even now you can easily see that all the player population on the world map is focused in Ungverija. My friends and I are in the same house that another friend of mine made, and we base out of No Man's Town. There's almost nobody in the Borderlands at any time except for the territory wars, and then the world map is dead again. I can go all around the Borderlands for hours gathering resources and screwing around and the place is so abandoned I only see a player every now and then.

I never have that issue lol. I see people constantly. Even in the BL area.

thats made for not get bored always in the same area and not camping same world map battles. imagine if one map was 2-3 years. all clans just camp best spots and no one get chanse to change history. now each season changin you have chanse to claim somthing atliest or 9999place guild take top 100 places..
