Thats not what a MMO is or stands for, mate. MMO is an open world game with not multiple but a massive ammount of players. A game that has a 5 Vs 5, 15 Vs 15, 30 Vs 30, etc; is an OMM. An OMM is instanced in one section or various: the Battle and (sometimes) lobby; while a MMO can or can't have instanced areas like Raid bosses, and other particular content.
I don't want to mention any games, but for example MOBA games are OMM.
So sick of games like WoT (World of Tanks) being described as MMO's myself.
"Massively Multiplayer Online"
Indeed, 5v5 or even 50v50 is not "Massively".
Glad this was brought up, I was curious myself.
We don't have acces to the entire game (as yet), but I sadlly think the game is not an MMO (by how the map looks).
If you have tried Heroes & Generals, the game does seem it will have the same "Map mode". I hope I am wrong, because the game does have potential as a MMO.
