Musket Build, Please help.

Hey! I'm switching from Glaive to Musket, can you guys please help me how to spend my attribute points for musket, what is the best build??

Depends on build and what you're looking to accomplish. If you want to use your blunt skills and have them do big damage then you could stay STR, if you want to use you piercing skills then you can go all dex which will let your musket hit harder. I'm not sure which is better.

combo is: Basic attack while approaching, bomb them, shotgun them point blank, shoot them in the head, knock them down with the kick, instant reload, shoot them in the head.

Str allows you to play the majority of the classes in the game effectively, including the top 3 in the meta right now (shortsword, Poleaxe, and dual blades) so if musket doesn't work out you still have those 3 and it works on glaive too.

Can I ask why it's full strength when in that combo only the kick is blunt damage?

the bomb is blunt damage, the kick is blunt damage, and you have enough piercing to damage people at range. Fire bomb is also blunt but not many use that these days.

It's about keeping your options open, the majority of classes in the game use a full str build.

Full Agi can play LB,SB,Musket, and maybe spear?
Full Str can play LS,SS,Poleaxe,Glaive,DB,Musket, and maybe spear? (i dont play spear).
The new hammer class will also be a Str based class, so you get the most bang for your buck.

Agi muskets do exist but you can just as easily get a purple musket with +pierce and +pierce pen to make up for your damage loss. Tbh I'd be far more feaful of a good Agi longbow than a musket, since they are glass cannons that only work in close range.

The majority of your damage comes from a point blank shotgun to the face, even as a str build once you get a good musket the difference is negligible. The main reason you go str is so you can boost your ult's damage, and the kick isnt that bad.

Kick, Bomb, Instant reload, Shotgun blast, the only skill that benefits from agi is your shotgun blast and your basic attacks. you aren't a longbow, you don't rely on basic attacks to get your kills. You're more akin to a glaive in that you wombo combo an enemy to death.

Dude if you dont use skirmisher you are a walking free kill for any poleaxe or dual blade who sees you. If i were you i'd find a spot for skirmisher in my loadout
