Why in the name of hell are temporary doctrines a thing.
Money grabbing BS to avoid giving us real rewards. Like hell, I wouldn't be mad if they at least lasted a month or something reasonable (preferably the season), but "ooga booga we're bad at giving rewards to our players," so instead of skill books you may have a 1 day doctrine that if not used will expire at the end of the season.

If the doctrines could be "recharged" using artillery components or something I wouldn't be so mad. Or if we could break them down for similar rewards to uncommon doctrines. This though, this is literally just an insult to players and an excuse to hide skill books/market value behind more walls, an excuse to not give us real doctrines. This game is already constantly walking thin ice with its fanbase, I have no idea why they would do something so blatantly toxic.

Eh, if you're doing TW then some are useful for those all or nothing key sieges, but if you don't then yea a bit pointless imo...

I’ll admit I was excited to have 3 epic temp doctrines, and 7 blue at the end of Twars. After I clicked on them and seen they were for ... village watchmen.. serfs... etc. I was super disappointed lol. Even a single skill book would of been better. Or maybe doctrines that were actually useful would of been nice. I’m suprised out of all 10 none were usable. It was an interesting idea to put all of this in game, but it feels meh. Wasted space. Getting 80 plus heal on serfs? Ouuu man watch out! That one really blew my hair back lmao.

They should get rid of the filler garbage doctrines or make it to where you can salvage them for tokens and buy permanent ones you want. Thing is too, if you replace a permanent doctrine with a temporary, you lose the permanent one. They just aren’t worth while to use for the most part from what I’ve seen.

some of these doctrines are very bad mannered. like +100 all defenses to imperial spear guards.
like, sure, they already have 1002 piercing defense, now they have 1102, they get +30% defense while in non-dispersive formation. 1400 piercing defense imperial spear guards with 20% damage reduction from ranged weapons, can tank 3 trebuchet shots. for 24 hours. ok i guess ?

Yah, I am really disappointed in Booming for doing this - what a waste of dev's time and resources.

I get it - make it useful for one Territory War - but imo, ok - so now what?

You gave me a taste of something that I probably will never see again.

So what was the point?

One TW?

You do realize Booming that there are 2 TW's per week right?

Just stupid.

Either make them less powerful and more permanent or make it so you can "recharge" and reuse them in some way.

I have plenty of them for units I don´t have yet (halbierds...). or I get them for low units like serfs. No point even using them.

I just want the ability to recharge them if I so desire, even that could make this forgivable.

My two complaints about this system is

A. having Doctrines that only last 1 day. This is just way too short.
B. many of the new Doctrines added are straight garbage.
