Do archer and musket player (not the units) have unlimited ammo?
Because if so this needs to change the way they just constantly sit back fire arrows and simply roll back and fourth whenever you try to go at them is simply not fun in any way. They should be given a certain amount of arrows or something.

Agreed, the ranged classes in general are very unbalanced. If theyre on horseback also, its just impossible to get them, they ride back and forth on horse, kill your horse under you and youre just sitting duck, its terrible.

Hey there!

Archers and Musket players do have unlimited ammo, please do remember this is a beta test and we're monitoring things such as class balances etc so everything in this test is subject to change and rebalancing!

Agreed as an archer I can jsut stand somewhere and hold down the left mousebutton and spam into groups. Maybe make headshots etc do a lot more dmg and give us finite ammo so that aiming comes into play or give us viable melee options like a sidesword (similar to the archer AI units) so that after we fired our X arrows we can at least defend ourselves and get more ammo.

this is what i was thinking give them a sword like the archer units have and then when they run out just like the units they have to fight melee

Its rather easy to dodge arrows btw, strafing left and right tends to get em off, and if all else fails, shield wall, arrows cant penetrate shields

Shortbow feels really reaaaallly weak. I need multiple headshots vs a single AI unit to kill them meanwhile a melee class jsut wipes the floor with them with 2 hits and attacks more than one unit. I mostly only get assists cause I dont do enough burst dmg to secure kills so I just cause damage over time with my poison and pester people with arrow hits.
The fact that the Longbow the more competent bow class is genderlocked doesn't really increase my enjoyement of this.

and then they use fire arrows and burn your men or they use it on you like they find a way. archers in this simply need to be nerfed
